About the Cotejo Desk newsroom

Cotejo Desk is an independent editorial desk that publishes guides and reviews about brokers and about digital and fixed-time options platforms. We write for readers in Argentina, in Spanish, and we publish the same pages translated into English and Italian.

What we are and what we are not

Cotejo Desk is not affiliated with Pocket Broker or Pocket Option, is not owned by either of them and is not operated by them. We are an editorial publication: the platform we write about is the subject of the text, never its author. When we name a brand we do it the way any publication names the company it reports on.

We are also not a customer support service, an intermediary or a representative of any platform. We do not open accounts for anyone and we do not handle anyone's paperwork.

How we work

Our starting material is what an operator publishes about itself: its own pages — terms of use, payment policy, anti-money-laundering policy, risk disclosure, payment methods — and its official listings in the app stores. We quote those sources with the date on which we read them, because conditions change without notice and a figure that is correct today may not be correct a month from now.

What an operator does not publish is information too, and we treat it as such. If a platform does not publish a minimum withdrawal amount, we do not invent one: we say that it does not publish one, and we explain where the reader will see it when they open the cashier in their account. That gap usually says more than a number borrowed from a third party.

We do not test, we do not audit, we do not run comparative performance trials, we do not deposit and we do not withdraw money on any platform, and we say so openly. We keep no open accounts for rehearsing withdrawals and no stopwatches for measuring execution. That is why you will not read phrases here such as "in our tests" or "our team verified": they would be false and they would not help you decide.

The facts that change

Amounts, timeframes, payment methods and country lists move. Our rule is simple: a figure enters the text only if an operator page states it, and it enters attributed to that page. If the page does not state it, we describe the mechanism — what it depends on, who sets it, where it is checked — instead of putting in a number that merely sounds plausible.

For the same reason we publish no scores, stars, rankings or verdicts we cannot support, and we do not assert the legal status of these products in any country. The rules for this kind of instrument differ by jurisdiction and change over time: that question belongs to a qualified adviser or to the relevant national authority, not to us.
